Monique

Monique grew up in Oceanside, CA and moved to Eugene in June 2024. She earned her cosmetology license in 2013 at a young age of 20 while still living in Oceanside.

Monique went on to assist another stylist for her first year before landing herself behind the chair where she has consistently been doing hair since along with some other side jobs such as; forklift operator, daycare provider, and being a security guard at a hospital.

She enjoys all hair, but coloring is her jam. Her favorite type of color service to do and her specialty is blonding + vivids. She has always been a blonde and understands how to wear it and take on any blonde challenge.

Monique opened her own hair+brow studio in San Diego in 2021, and after that a full salon on the beach a year later. She closed her salon to relocate with her family in Eugene.

Besides doing hair Monique is a full time mom+wife. She is mom to 3 kids that do hockey, Jiu Jitsu, Boy Scouts, drum lessons, and civil air patrol. So, when she's not at CONFETTI you're likely to ding her at one of these events or at the dog park, hiking, chasing waterfalls, or exploring outside with her hubby+kids.

She loves tent camping, kayaking, floating the river in the summer and snowboarding in winter, and getting cozy to read a good book.

Monique has always been close with her family, growing up with 3 sisters, and took on the roll of 'tomboy'. She's always was the sister with crazy hair+tattoos. She loves to interpret that 'wild' + 'rebellious' part of her personality that she's always had into her work behind the chair.
